Installing Flash on a Knoppix/Linux OS?

So I just recently switched to Linux when my Micro$oft crashed. Now I can't view any flash sites. So I go to the Flash website to download the latest version of flash. Got it no problem. However, I can't figure out how to instal the damn thing. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

yeah make sure you download it for mozilla/firefox or whatever

dont download the IE plug in, its a different file and it wont work

I got it going now. I got a geek friend of mine to come over and do the instal. I had the right one downloaded. Just couldn't figure out the install.
