maybe not as much as Brave New World. But a great album and the show (Chicago) was excellent....and...
....Some dude next to me, elbowed me at the show, and as I went to Bitch slap him, I realized he had a Bomber the size of my pinky he was offering to me. Being a friendly type I accepted and the rest of the night, needless to say, was a tad blurry.
So Chicago has great hospitality. I HIGHly recommend seeing a show there.

the next maiden tour will be next summers "early days part 2" i'm sure they'll tour the states because it's rumored to be the powerslave stage and set and, that was probabley their biggest selling point in the u.s.a.
It's a killer album that is probably on par with Brave New World. Brave New World was one was the best records they've done, so that's saying something. I get a big rush every time I listen to The Longest Day. Great tunes. Definitely better than Dance of Death which was a bit of a letdown after Brave New World.

I just watched the 'Death on the Road' DVD for the first time a few weeks ago. It was the first time I've seen a concert by them since seeing them twice on the 'Powerslave' tour. I bought 'No Prayer for the Dying' and 'Fear of the Dark' back in the day but wasn't too impressed. This show was cool as fuck so, yeah, better late than never. Of the songs I didn't recognize, 'Lord of the Flies' was cool. Plus, 'Hallowed be thy Name' is always good.
the album is kinda special to me since it was the first time i saw maiden live, and they played the entire album live.
The one thing i remember the most from the concert is when they played fear of the dark, and the crowd goes wild...except for me
