The opening riff is the same chord progression, more or less, just basic power chords...but then again, how many songs sound the same when they use mainly power chords? If that's true, then everyone in metal has copied Metallica.

I hear a slight similarity, but not really that much.

And people say I am hearing things that aren't there when I say the intro riff from Mother North sounds like the riff in I Am The Black Wizards.
