Is it just me or...

Is superior drummer pretty much a glorified EZ drummer? For some reason I was expecting more selections for drums in the stock NY kit. The cymbal selection is great and I have to report like everyone else that they sound quite a bit better than SSD.

Maybe I'm spoiled with all the selections that SSD has?

Well, it doesn't have that much selection, that's true. I've been thinking about getting Metal Foundry to get some more stuff.

But unless someone can prove me otherwise, I think it more than makes up in quality compared to SSD.

I would be keen to hear what you have to say about SD once you have metal foundry.
I was looking at grabbing the SD crossgrade from sweetwater for a cool $99 USD but they say I have to pay $40 USD to ship it to New Zealand! (was hoping they would just sell me a license so I could download from Toontrack or something??
So anyway, if I have to pay for shipping, I might as well wait until I get SD & Metal Foundry (MF being $149.99 USD) at the same time so I only pay for shipping once :(
Post back once you have MF and let us know if you think it's worth more than SD itself!

It seems a different beast than SSD, and SSD paired with this is awesome.

I'll probably pick up metal foundry as well, just seems like a really pimped out EZ drummer though .

I'd actually like to pick up SSD EX just to add some more samples to what I already use and the S2.0 ones. But I guess since I already have S2.0, it would make more sense to get Metal Foundry :tickled: Come to think of it, I could have get them both for the amount of money I put on the recent Camel Audio group buy  well, no regrets
