Troll? I find it inane and foolhardy to suggest that homophobes are homosexuals themselves. Any study done can be tilted in the researchers favor, so doubt should be cast upon that idea as well.
And I was not reaching. I was stating that it is inherent in Judaism and Judeo-Christianity to inflict violence upon homosexuals, so it would be far more likely for a gay-hater to be religious than homosexual themselves.

As for the topic at hand- metal is dead to the genral public, but alive and well on the underground- and Id say its getting stronger- more and more bands are touring the US that never did before.
The real question is, is the metal community dead? Everytime I get on this site- someone is flaming someone else- I admit I do it too- but for fucks sake- these are people posting on a fucking board- would you go that overboard if that was a friend sitting next to you? I know that posting on a board gives one anoynimity(sp), and in truth, allows one to be a bit more egotistical( i certaintly am) - but god, it does not give anyone a right to be so cruel hearted as the many postings I see on this board. These arent statements said in jest as one says to many friends- they go on for a few posts with no one giving in or asking forgiveness.

wow. i think it's time to put an end to this. i would like to thank all of the participants for taking part in this trolling experiment. it's funny how almost every metal related flame war gets to the point where people start accusing each other of being gay. some of you people whine about the general public being close minded towards metal, then turn around and start bashing sub genres of metal yourself. some of you complain about metal fans being labled immature, and then start calling other metal fans gay because they listen to power metal. grow up and maybe then the general public will take you seriously. oh yeah...and don't feed the trolls. i don't want to ruin your board so i will stop my shit stirring attempts and leave you guys alone
