Is Vintersorg Pro-White/Nazi?

@belial: well, we mustn't be fainthearted! i'm no violent person eighter, but if someone punches me, i punch back! otherwhise the guy will go on and on, since he knows you won't do anything to defend yourself!

@mr.V: i bet misanthrope will be calling you a racist for that you want him banned!:lol: at least he did that with me, when i critizised him (for all to see on the opeth off topic forum in this weird "who would you like to see dead" thread")! he allways does if you critizise him and his behavior, which has nothing to do with of what origin he is! but who cares anyways!

What's wrong with the stone age? What's wrong with the ppl who lived then? Don't you think they killed to survive; to get food and protect themselves back then; just like all other animals do?

I don't think it's possible to get rid of all violence. It's there so that some may survive. And for some to survive, someone else has to die. One can think it's good, or one can think it's bad, but it's the way of nature. Everything cannot live, and nothing lives forever.

More and more ppl die every day, cause more and more ppl fill up this planet. It's quite logical, isn't it? What if we hadn't been violent? Then all the ppl who now die by violence, would probably die by sickness or in accidents. What nature gives, it also takes away.

So why not just get used to the idea (we should have by now, considering it's always been like this), and make the best of ourselves and our own lives...?

But even if you try to avoid it, disagreeing and defending your beliefs it's smth natural. Just as it is defending your territory, your social group, etc. And you'll fight for it if you think it's necessary.
It's interesting to learn different points of view, but of course, when it comes to nonsense and stupid, childish insults with no substance, then i'm against it.

I don't want to dwell into the issue about Misanthrope, but I think he wants to be ignored and he'll fuel flamewars until you do... Nobody paid much attention here, so his stay wasn't that long...
 
Misanthrope and i are Different persons. I deny all such accusations, and i belive that i deserve a fair chance just like everybody else here until it can be proven im as disruptive as Misanthrope.

Anything less than that would be childish and unfair, and i hope for the good of music itself that Mr. Vintersorg realizes that beyond what anyone can say no one can actually prove who is behind the keyboard of "Velya", and that the honest and honorable thing to do is to judge me for what I have to say, not what Misanthrope said.

Then again i do not believe i have to worry too much about it, Mr. Vintersorg seems like an honest and honorable person.
 
well.......his command of the english language appears to be 300% better than mianthrope's, so it's remotely possible he's telling the truth.............I suppose.

Ah, but in this statement, Vintersorg, you've proven my point. You see, when there is no threat it is easy to sit back and condemn violent reactions to violence, but when there is an actual aggressor (in this specific case, Misanthrope) It's quite a different story.

Do you not see the inherant contradiction in this? Fleischwolf said we mustn't be fainthearted, and if someone punches you one should punch back, but what does that accomplish? A fistfight, which could lead to an all out brawl, which in itself is a display of humanity's "primitive" instincts. Everyone is hurt. Nothing is solved. A completely ilogical waste of time.

In a national sense, when there is an aggressor a country feels inclined to defend itself against said aggressor. It is a natural human reaction. Which I guess speaks volumes of human nature.

I'm not against defending one's self in the sense you did. I merely wanted to make you aware of the contradiction in your overall logic.
 
well, belial, you have to realize that not everybody is a peaceloving guy! some people are always in for a fight and they usually pick victims who they think are weak! so they try and bug you and if you don't defend yourself, they realize that they can go on with this without fearing reactions! you have to defend yourself, and i stress defend here! that doesn't mean that we should seak a fight or something! of course the best thing is everybody i s peacefull, but if there is one who is not, someone has to show him that he can't attack others without consequences!
it's the same at school, you have to get yourself some respect or everybody will be kicking you around! if somebody attacks me i'll defend myself! defence and attacking are differnet things!

But hell, I'm stubborn, and rather tempered. And my father has always told me not to let anyone fuck with me and just push me around, and he's taught me to stand up for myself. Guess he never did much when he was young, or so...... But now no-one ever do fuck with me or push me around.
 
I know all of that. I went to high school too, you know.

I'm saying that if you believe in defending one's self it is a contradiction to condemn responding to violence with violence because that is exactly what self-defence is.

People in Sweden are really stupid. They think our flag is some nazi-symbol or something (how they can think that beats me..) and if you are proud of your country (not saying I am..) you are called nazi also. Now there is really something wrong in this..
 
@FleichwolfWell, in short... these young girls wear a t-shirt which says "Sweden". The colours on the shirt is the same as the swedish flag...

"Immigrants" threatens them, push them and calls them nazis and racists because the immigrants think they are right wing nationalists, because they wear those shirts. The girls tries to tell them that they just wear the t-shirts because they like them, and the immigrants says that if that was not the fact they would have killed them...
The whole thing happens in the tourist park Liseberg in Göteborg..

Swedes I know says that these things happens all the time. To say you are "proud of being Swedish" in Sweden, may cause trouble...

It's really insane... The voice of internationalism and globalisation speaks. Those who speaks against it, may be called nazi or racist.

The article basically says two girls were wearing those shirts with the text Sverige (Sweden) on them. They went to Liseberg (an amusement park) and they got harassed because of thier shirts... The guys appearently thought they were "racists" because of the shirts :rolleyes:

patriotism and nazism is far from be the same
(to see obvious relation beetween that is anoying)
