It's coooooooooooold!!

Why people don't park the car in the garage, that will prevent snow over it isn't it? :Smug:

What about those of us who don't have a garage?

Vayase a la playa y ya no nos moleste! :loco:
A house without a garage? That's unAmerican, where do you put all the stuff you don't want in the house? :p

Now seriously I never understood why people in US make garages if they never put the car in the garage

That's why I can't put the car in the garage

But it's not just at home. When you get out of work 9 or 10 hours later you can find a couple of inches of snow and ice to scrape off.

No shit. Sorry to hear that Jonny :erk:, what a bad deal...

I like snow but I know also the pain of scrap it out of the car. But like MX said unless you always find a roofed parking lot or garage, you're stuck with the white stuff :hypno:

Still I like more snow than the friggin' rain we have here

My first winter in Indiana - tho it's not "officially" winter yet - and I am freezing today! It has already snowed once and my husband likes to tease me saying "Wait til it's 10(F) below" :(

This kind of weather makes me want to listen to Sentenced or Vintersorg tho :p
It got down to 25 deg here the day before yesterday too. The people up North will laugh at that, but when it is 25 degrees here, it is also windy and high humidity (though that sounds like an oxymoron.) My ex-brother-in-law was from Minnesota and he said that while the winters didn't compare to the ones they had up in Minnesota, he said when we had cold days (because of the region humidity and wind) they were tougher to get used to. Today, it got back up around 50 degrees so it was a short winter blast thank God.

25 degrees is cold enough for me and with the Lake being so close, those winds are brutal! We're supposed to get 6 to 10 inches of snow on Sunday. They said on the radio that it'll be about 16 degrees for the Bears game, plus the wind... brrrrr!!

Well it's not like Northern Wisconsin here or anything, but cold in The South (not like South Florida and stuff that doesn't get cold) is a different type of cold than farther up North. It is tolerable for us because we only get it for two or three days at a time, but trust me when I say it gets miserable here on those days.
We can layer up on clothes and look like the Michelin man, but we don't like to dress like that down here. The only gloves I own is a baseball glove and my heaviest jacket is a leather trench (though it actually is pretty warm.)

So do I, we have a lot of fucking rain in here! Give me snow or give me sun but somebody take this shitty weather out of here :yuk:

Rain should be outlawed in the Kyoto protocol :loco:

I hear ya. It snowed like hell all night on Saturday and I went grocery shopping on Sunday morning, it was like 10 degrees-"feels like -7", and I told my husband I had never dressed like that in my whole life!
