I can take it or leave it(snow), here in the last few years we have been getting more freezing fog & freezing rain more than snow...

That's why I can't put the car in the garage
But it's not just at home. When you get out of work 9 or 10 hours later you can find a couple of inches of snow and ice to scrape off.

, what a bad deal...I like snow but I know also the pain of scrap it out of the car. But like MX said unless you always find a roofed parking lot or garage, you're stuck with the white stuff

It got down to 25 deg here the day before yesterday too. The people up North will laugh at that, but when it is 25 degrees here, it is also windy and high humidity (though that sounds like an oxymoron.) My ex-brother-in-law was from Minnesota and he said that while the winters didn't compare to the ones they had up in Minnesota, he said when we had cold days (because of the region humidity and wind) they were tougher to get used to. 25 degrees is cold enough for me and with the Lake being so close, those winds are brutal! We're supposed to get 6 to 10 inches of snow on Sunday. They said on the radio that it'll be about 16 degrees for the Bears game, plus the wind... brrrrr!!

Well it's not like Northern Wisconsin here or anything, but cold in The South (not like South Florida and stuff that doesn't get cold) is a different type of cold than farther up North. We can layer up on clothes and look like the Michelin man, but we don't like to dress like that down here. The only gloves I own is a baseball glove and my heaviest jacket is a leather trench (though it actually is pretty warm.)

It's been warm around these parts for this time of year. 30's at night & 40's in the day. Still no snow, just some rain. I love having seasons. I would go crazy in a tropical setting...
