J-Dub vs The Raccoons!

Hmm, I'm with State Farm....now I'm kinda worried.

If AmFam are no longer considering the raccoon feces to be a "pollutant," wouldn't that mean they'd be denying the payment for removal of same? It sounds like they'd be denying the claim in full. Sure hope the hell not!

No it's all good at this point EXCEPT that a larger raccoon seems to have tried to enter, the block was laying on the driveway, and the hole in the roof is a bit bigger. Trapper on his way out this afternoon. Buck-et Trap! Buck-et Trap! Buck-et Trap! :muahaha: This one's going DOWN!

I've only dealt with AmFam on the recruiting & hiring side of things, and let's just say I will never buy insurance from them based on that experience.

Glad they are (apparently) going to take care of you. I worked in the insurance industry for many years (life & health, not commercial though), and there were lots of reasons I got out, chief among them being that it started to seem more like an industry that was out to make a quick buck than actually help people protect themselves in case things went wrong.

Thanks for sharing this, and I'm not surprised at all.....

Phase 1 disinfecting & sanitizing started on Wed. They'll be back to start the cleanup & repairs on Monday. Trapper found a chemical that will NOT require me to vacate the house along with the cats. It smells like fresh linens....

The attic/roof project is DONE! Completed this afternoon. Roof fixed with wood and STEEL (ok, sheet metal), and the attic looks & smells like an attic again. Kudos to the guys for busting ass today and getting done in case it snows. Nice to have this albatross off of my neck... Now, I guess I ought to paint in there while its empty....

And thus, the saga ends as it should....

Yay!! I am so glad to hear that, and I know that you're more than relieved that this saga has come to an end.

Yep! SO freakin' glad it's over & done. Went and got the most potent .22 caliber rounds I could (Omark/CCI "stingers") and will have the lil' Ruger 10/22 ready for their next appearance. Hate to have to go that route, but I can't deal with another home invasion. 9mm is overkill, and a LOT louder......:Smokedev:

BWAHAHAHAHA!

:Smug: Shouldn't you be working, or something? :p

Considering my "trapper caught ZERO raccoons, and I only got 2 squirrells and a cat, I guess I deserve this....the coons did f**k me!
thanks Glenn! this made my day!
