Jackson dinky DK2

I'm totally happy with mine! Great build quality for the money and awesome neck. It will handle drop tunings easily.

The pickups are good, although the JB is a love it or hate it thing. I changed it at some point for an alternative 8 and recently switched to EMG 89s.

Overall it's a great playing guitar :)

A friend of mine has a DK2S, not the exact same guitar, but obviously the same series so it's more or less the same instrument just with a fixed bridge and sustainiac pickup.
Well built instruments that have great playability.
The JB is good but it wouldn't be my first choice for any guitar tuned below D.
For C# and lower, IMO you need something a little tighter.

Thanks for the comments. A pickup swap is indeed something I'll consider in the future, as long as build quality of the guitar itself is fine enough for the money :)

cool...

now I just need to get rid of my Peavey triple X to generate some more cash, my (Dutch) buyer canceled at the very last moment :Smug: There doesn't seem to be much interest over here (in belgium) ...

I had the Dinky with the reverse headstock and emgs. Absolutely loved it. I sold it to get an s-series Ibanez. I regretted it immediately
