janne?

Hello. The keyboard itself doesen´t matter to me. I use X5, X3, M1, DX7, XP50... the sound source is controlled via midi by the keyboard and that´s the one that matters but becuse of the lack of endorsements that´s all info about that. I do change the sounds myself.

Janne, I asked you a question in another "Janne-Thread", please answer me:

The fast "run" in Angels Don't Kill you and Alexi play (at the end of the solo, 3:36): it's so fucking crazy!!! This is not a usal scale-"noodeling", this is a note sequence wich is very hard to play in that tempo. Congratulations, I needed one hour to get it out, hehe. My question: who composed that? You or Alexi? Please give a comment to this part.

Im pretty sure those things are really expensive.. like everything..

Yep. Extremely expensive and I have two. One cost 160euro and the other 150euros. You must be a rockstar to afford one :)
(but the sounds are really crap, only for controller use!)

It´s one of those parts Alexi changed in the studio. The original one was a lot easier. I am gonna have a hard time learnin to play it live. If I remember correctly its somehow pentatonic related...

Thanks, Janne!

Yeah, its a mix of harmonic minor and pentatonic I think! So you have "done" something with it in studio that it works?...or let me ask the question in another way...ähm: Is it possible that Alexi records the parts in a slower tempo and on the CD its faster? I know, stupid question, but sometimes it is soooo fast and really tidy....
A command like "BS" is enough :(

It is very common that Alexi changes riffs/lines in studio which annyos the hell out of me.
All of the music on our albums (drs, bass, guitars, keys) is recoded in real time. No tricks used there.

In real time, wow those crazy kicking ass solos at Angels dont kill are almost imposible for me to play in half of that tempo, its a wierd set of picking. NOw Im doomed really......

Janne, what do you think about them?

At least here in Finland they are so overprized (might be that they also are a bit over appreciated??). I think they have good sounds/samples but I don´t know much about models etc...
