I must credit you guys for your fantastically open minds...round here I shoot people who do not understand that RJD is one of the greatest singers who ever lived

Only Neal, but he isn't worth a bullet. He'd prefer to be stoned to death listening to Master of Reality. :loco:

yeh. AoR is a watered down version of WoS. it has the same problems that hatecrew death roll and figure number five and reroute to remain all have: theyre just a boring version of what they've already done. a total plagerism of themselves, but they didnt steal the good stuff.

This argument sounds very familiar , ok here we go again:

First of all, if a piece of music is good from ANY genre, then anyone should be entitled to listen to it without argument from anyone else. And also, if you like something that doesn't flow with the masses, then you should have the balls to admit to it.

If you like WoS, I'd be hardpressed to believe you wouldn't like AoR. If you didn't like WoS, then why bother with AoR since we're all agreeing it's derivative. And if I'm included in the masses of people who do like AoR, who cares? Sue me, I'm not a martyr. Now if bands like Skyfire and Omnium Gatherum are ripping off other bands, then that is even more shameful so your argument is dung since you consider the new Skyfire to be on the of the greatest CD's of the year.

Reroute to Remain is Clayman without solos. That's it - no two ways about it. Yes, "Metaphor" tipped the scales, but you take "Metaphor" out of the album and you've basically got In Flames-lite. Again, if you hate Clayman then there really isn't much point is there? And personally, I hardly see a MASSIVE difference between Colony and Clayman. Blah blah blah...

Figure Number Five is just boring and aimless. Even if you liked Natural Born Chaos, there's little excitement to find in FnF. I liked Predators Portrait, I liked NBC (especially Townsends production), but FnF to me was just arsewipe. See my review for further details, although I'm sure you do your best to avoid going to our site. No problemo.

I know next to nothing about Children of Bodom. I own Follow the Reaper, but it hardly made me want to go out and get their whole discography. So no comment.

and i didnt say SETI was the greatest album of the decade, hell i like animatronic better anyway, but i still dig SETI quite a bit. kovenant is just so cool to hate, you all cant resist.

Well, it was our review for SETI that drove you into being our resident troll.

And by the way, speaking of being derivative, how on earth is SETI not derivative when there are THOUSANDS of other bands in Europe doing that style of music and much better too. You just have to step outside the world of metal and enter the world of people like Chris Liberator and club 414. Give me solid acid-techno over lame sampling anyday.

Shit, I would even take Music for the Jilted Generation or Fat of the Land over The Kovenant's weak interpretation of dance culture any day of the week.

I could really give two slimy green liquid shits about any of the bands mentioned in this thread, but I must say that after reading this:
not fucking rainbow. over rated buttrock with a midget singer.
...I was literally laughing out loud in my office and people were walking by wondering what the fuck I was doing. That was hilarious, and I do agree. Rainbow sucks.

When it comes to Sabbath: Ozzy>Dio, no contest.

I was drunk for a week straight.
I'm closing in on being sick for a week straight.
And now I'm royally pissed off (like this --> ), so any threads I create will be
1) destructive
2) drunk
3) not pertaining to music
or
4) gay

This is the worst winter I've been through ever. Two flus, three colds, and a sinus infection. Next year I'll do the sensible thing and get a flu jab, And tonight, it's snowing. Again. Fucking shovelling my cunting driveway and sidewalk again for the 20th time in the last fucking 2 months. Honestly, for someone who goes into NYC 4 times a year, it's just not worth it anymore. I need to move where the winter months don't last 5 months and turn everything into snow, sludge, ice, and rainy cesspits.

Come out west mate, it's been in the 80s and 90s for nearly a month now.

Not sure if I'm :Smug: or :Spin: over that really.

California weather is even better than it looks in the movies. Plus all the hills near the coast get a bunch of rain in the winter and turn so green they look like a HUGE putting green (although very steep). It's seriously beyond belief out here. I have my doors and windows wide open right now.

You're lucky, you don't have to deal with much smog up there. It has been better in recent years I suppose, or I'm just completely jaded to it now.
