Jesu

still #1

currently listeing to Sun Day. my song of the year. this album gives me goosbumps it's so freakin' emotional and such a "wears its heart on its sleeve" album.

Classic and timeless.

Above is the front sleeve of the Jesu Aurora Borealis ltd 12" vinyl release - 'Sun Down' / 'Sun Rise', sleeve by Seldon Hunt. This is going to the manufacturers shortly, hopefully for an end of 2006 release.

Probably the best band I've discovered in the last 12 months. Not sure whether to get all these 12" split releases though.

I still want to get the debut EP. I sent money to the label that released it, they accepted my PayPal payment, and I never got it, nor did they ever reply to any of my e-mails :erk:

I recently found out how awesome these guys are, and I am excited to see them with Isis this spring. :kickass:

I definitely will, Isis were probably the best show I saw all year (which weren't too many), if there was anything disappointing about the new album for me it was that the live-debuted songs sounded less powerful on record. Looking forward to Jesu as well, the debut took forever to grow on me. March 14, remember that date NYC people...
