Just mixed some real drums from scratch. Lend me an ear?

Got a track here I recorded bass and guitar over (as all I had was raw drums).

Let me know your thoughts! I'm relatively new to taking the reigns of mixing from scratch myself.

Sounds very thin and lifeless. Less compression maybe?

Parallel compression on those shells and turning up the ambiance mics of the kit a little could make the drum sound fatter. Maybe those shell could benefit from saturation too! Nice track by the way man!I love the vibe.

DI's were hardware compressed by the studio. Nothing I can do.
