Just something I noticed...

EVERYTHING seems to be exploding out of Australia at the moment. Every time I turn around there's something else that's awesome from down under. I expect to see Yahoo Serious any moment...

Australia is ALSO home to some of the most putrid, most decrepit, most foul fucking death metal I've ever heard in my life.

Makes me wish I was 'Stralian.

Fuck tech death.
I'm 22, getting too old for that shit.
Currently blues-ing it up so I have an excuse to write lyrics about the wife leaving me, the dog dying and my joints not quite working the way they used too.

When I'm a senile old man, we're going to hang out on my deep-south style wooden porch in rocking chairs.

You can sing some shit and play a guitar or banjo (whichever), and I'll sit there fondling a shotgun, shouting at the kids walking past, and shooting anyone who steps on the lawn.

It'll be rad

You guys gotta see the Psycroptic DVD 'Initiation' if you haven't already.
You'll be spending plenty of time wishing you could be working with guys of this caliber haha.

Joe seems really nervous in this video, but it's definitely my favorite "Betcha Can't Play This" lick ever.

I'm mixing a Technical Death Album from New Zealand right now, and yeah insane stuff's coming from there (yeah,I know that australia and new zealand arent the same but anyway...)
When I'm an old fart I'll be jamming blues all day. I'm allready practising that right now just to make sure to be ready when I hit the right age
Drlling scales is just something I don't want to spend my time with.

At 23 I find my fingers not wanting to move like they used to... dunno how the real guys do it... lots of practice that I just don't have time for I assume....

Plus for some reason my frethand pinky has been kinda-sorta clicking in recent years... no noise it just kinda moves in a not fluid jerky motion.... it's hell on the shredding... :(

I had that with my ring finger when I was about 14 Paulie, it just went away one day, never came back since.
