I think Mindrust is about a smoker who has lung cancer or something. I based this on my interpretation of the lyrics and an old post saying that its about a guy dying of cancer.

Anyways, after reading pretty much all Kalmah lyrics, I don't think they are supporting any ideology in their songs, they just talk about revolution and the things that it often leads to (Time Takes Us All).

What about songs like My Nation, and Using the Word?
They reference "religious" themes,
"Join Our Legions In The Name Of GOD"
"Oppressive despots will be sent to HELL"
"Using religion as a shield"(could be a bash against certain people in a certain type of religion who hide behind their "faith")

I'm not really into religious preference, but the GOD and HELL parts may be a VERY slight reference to christianity in Pekka's favor.

Don't think i'm trying to call Kalmah a christian band, even though that wouldn't change my opinion of them either way, but it's interesting to think about Pekka's views on these matters.

Theres a lot of story telling that goes into kalmah songs. So topics like religion arn't necessarily Kalmahs exact believes, so its possible that he will be supporting hell or heaven given the situation in a song. In Burbots revenge i find this one very interesting, wicked song with a wicked story, first of all does anyone know what a Burbot is, i couldnt find anything on the subject, according to the song i got the impression it might be a very large fish or seal. And the Burbot seems to get revenge by shredding the fishermans net, yes? lol if the burbot pulled the fisherman under the ice and ate him maybe, thats my idea of revenge. like to hear how you guys interpreted the song.

Burbot is a fish, but maybe he isn't talking about that. For me, this burbot thing is just a metaphor maybe about a person or society, being the burbot. It trying to escape of its demise or this fisherman but instead going more into it, showing how we fall as a group and try to come back, sometimes going back up or making the problem worse.
