I wrote to Laura from her ad, but yeah I had one in there at some point too. Lots of letters from prison inmates followed. Two of which I kept writing to! One is now a friend on Myspace and Facebook, the other was a Myspace friend but he seems to have disappeared. Maybe he's in jail again

My investigative skills were good even back then. I checked the criminal record of every inmate that wrote to me to see how their story of how they ended up there actually matched with the truth. Kinda fun, actually. Most of them were lying, but two weren't.

Well, one of them (the one that has now seemingly disappeared) had said he was in jail for conspiring to jet his friend off to Brazil to hide out there with his own dad who supposedly lived there. The friend had apparently gotten in trouble over drugs. After a long chase starting in the Dallas area and ending in Oklahoma, they were caught. That sounds REALLY far fetched and too "fun" but after some research, it turned out to be true!

Well he served his time and then went to live with his grandparents in Tennessee. Caught up with him on Myspace and he'd started his own business, so good for him. Since then his Myspace page is gone and I've just sarded checking the TN criminal records.

The other dude...I don't even remember what he was in for but it couldn't have been too bad.
