As ive been listening to both bands a TON lately.... anyone ever attempted to tab their songs? Specifically the interludes by Maudlin? they are amazing on acoustic guitar

This is the only tab of any motW/Kayo Dot song that I know of that has been tabbed out. The transcriptionist is Greg Massi (Kayo Dot/motW guitarist), who also posts here under the name baliset, I think.

At any rate, I did a tab for Geography a while back, and am currently working on Sleep is a Curse, if you'd like me to post these here. I don't know whether either is 100% accurate or if the fingerings/tunings are in accordance to the way the band actually played them, but when played on guitar they at last sound like the songs :)

oh for sure.. post anything =)

I'm just in love with the style of acoustic guitar played by Kayo Dot/Maudlin

I think Marid's Gift is standard tuning. Geography is something weird (not interlude tuning)

MLT is either dropped D or C

They Aren't All Beautifull tuning is on the back of teh CD case I think? Might be totally wrong. It's been a long time.

This is awesome

What's the tuning on the interludes? Playing a D chord sounds a little high pitched to me?

or am i reading that all wrong? lol

jesus... hahah I thought so

I was wondering why Interludes 1 and 2 were the same notes? lol they arent!

Can anyone send me the Sleep is a Curse tab? I've gotten quite addicted to that song. Perhaps some song suggestions as well?
