We're discussing the production of an album nowadays and this riff has been stuck in my head for a while and doesn't belong on the band's repertoire,
so why not test out profiles in a mix?

Thought this might interest some of you.

Most of the profiles are free, i'll give specifics if anyone's interested.

Mandatory disclaimer: my ears are shot. The mix seemed fine last i checked, but, yeah.
Embedding shows one track out of seven - click the link for more, i guess.

The tone sounds pretty good... as a whole, though, the mix sounds like it's been low-passed a little too hard; I basically don't hear any high end at all. Of course, that might be the sound you're after.

No, you're right. The cymbals make it sound as bright as i'd want it, but they're not there for the most part.
Shot ears. Maybe i'll get it fixed tomorrow.
