Hey All,

I thought i'd suggest some absolute heavy as an obese gorilla amp settings for you all.

This is really worth a try, seriously!

I recently acquired a vintage Vox AC 30 Combo, and thought WTF do i need this door prop for. I was bored the other day so began experimenting with it.
I usually run a BC Rich with EMG's, Maxon tube screamer, original 5150 head into a boogie cab, so you know my sh=t is heavy.

I was absolutely astonished with earth shaking thundering bottom end i got from the AC30 when Mic'd up with a 57 and a royer.

Obviuosly i wouldn't dare grace the stage with it but in the mix simply stunning!

Try for your selves, kill an indie joe and steal his amp, it'll be worth it!

You can get some nice sounds (also heavier ones) out of a Vox AC30, we have one at our rehearsal room (owned by the father of a friend, played about 5 or 6 months through it, never used it later, it's almost new :D ).
At the beginning we had to use it for bass (very low volume so no, not damaging the speakers) because we were to poor, sounded cool, nice jazz bass sound.
For guitars I like it on cleaner solo stuff, cuts through well and no, you don't have to sound like queen when you use it ;) (but damn, they were great!).
