I just saw a Metallica live video off Fade To Black from Seattle 1988 on MTV.
They really know how to piss people off.
I'd hate for Metallicas great music to come in mainstream rotation.
MTV should stick with Fuel and The Memory Remains :(

Um not sure what kind of sense you're making.
Presumably, you were watching MTV in order to see a music video.
Then you complain when a fucking amazing song comes on.
How is this bad?

I was just zapping around when it was a commercial break on the channel i was watching, thats the reason i looked at MTV :p

Anyway, if they start playing old Metallica on MTV, eventually it will become a trend and all the hordes of 14-year olds watching MTV will think that old Metallica is "cool and hip" without knowing anything about the actual music.

Here in the USA Metallica's old tunes get constant airplay on NU METAL AOR stations all the time..The videos from the Metallica Black CD were in heavy rotation on MTV..Nothing new here, Metallica have been in heavy rotation on MTV since the video for "One" was aired back in '88.
