HEHE, his vocals are something youll love or hate. At least when people mistake Opeth for having two vocalist its usually "if thats Mikeal, then who is the other guy?" But with King you get, "if thats King, then who is the girl singing?"

Fatal Portrait, Abigail, Them and Conspiracy are essentials. I saw him three of the four...man, he was great, but Mercyful Fate was the one of the first black metal bands!

One need only listen to the first EP and find truth...LOL.

I am also not a big fan, but I heard my roommate's Abigail cd and thought it was pretty good. The vocals are pretty funny, but I couldn't really listen to them constantly.

Oh, you already know my immediate response to this question but... the original Abigail has a massive atmosphere that I adore. I've loved it since it was released. The new sequel is a complete bore. Sorry but that's the truth. Too long, too dry, and I miss the creepy ambient keyboards from the first Abigail album.

I love both King Diamond and Mercyful Fate work too...
My best King album is.. uhm.. i don't know.. i like Abigail, The Eye and Them at the same way.. i've voted Them because it has been my first King's cd i bought..
And what about Mercyful Fate? Do you wanna do another poll or we can continue on this?? Which is your preferred album??
