Where does a person get statistics of stuff like this beside their ass?

Liquid Tension said:I agree it's remarkable... Those two bands are at the top of the metal world...
Can't handle King Dimond due to the shitty vocal delivery... There are way too many other bands to spend time listening too!
affinityband said:True, but its the same as you picking apart Opeth fans in Opeth threads because of their musical tastes. Not that i mind at all, its a laugh.

I'm speechless. :zombie:Liquid Tension said:I agree it's remarkable... Those two bands are at the top of the metal world...

I can see how some people might not care for the vocals, but it's an aquired taste. The only thing I can say is, give it a chance. Don't just listen to one song and say "This sucks". His vocals create a style all his own, they support the brutality of the story being told. Although not always pretty, neither is having your eyeballs plucked out (Puppet Master).
There is also some seasonality for me with KD. I find during the Fall of the year, that's when I enjoy the King the most. Shit is dying, the days are getting shorter, it just compliments the musical elements of KD's tunes.
My favorite KD is probably the Puppet Master or the Graveyard.
Long live the King![]()
The first time I heard him I thought that he sounded similar to Rob Halford but different and with more range. I was hooked immediately.Frosties said:Something I am curious about: The first time anyone here has heard this dudes singing, did they think "wow, he sounds good!" - or did it take you all hours of abuse to your ears to be able to endure it?
