A bunch of pay-to-play bands no one's ever heard of, whose set times are shorter than the time it usually takes to set up, and headliners who drew the crowd getting to play for only 40 - 50 minutes? Sure, death metal bands have a lot of short songs, but come on! Looks like these guys are using the Jack Koshick model of festival planning...

Sadly, the only band I'd really look twice at on that lineup is Macabre.

I almost attended this fest but ended up having to postpone my trip... I would like to see Vital Remains, Impaled, Crematorium.. other bands i am not the familiar with.. have seen incantation and immolation so was not that impressed with that....

i hope you have a great time... i think i would have enjoyed it.

Why do any of these bands bother? All that BS for just 20 minutes? Why don't they rent out a club and play for an hour? LA Murderfest seems like a waste of good stage space.

I should have known better then to post anything about a fest which features mostly death metal bands on a progpower forum but hey i like all kinds of metal ....
