Last exam today, IM DONE WITH HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMICS

Sounds like a plan. For six weeks starting the end of may I'm teaching two sections of rhetoric and media *vomit*. Not really my think, but it pays 4 grand for six weeks, and I need the money.

Other than that, it's all about getting a lot of writing done.

America has a much harsher "YOU MUST PUBLISH" culture, so I'm fairly glad I live over here. Rhetoric and Media is actually somewhat interesting, my colleague Alberto studies the newspapers each day for rhetorical ploys (in his spare time!)

Eh, I'm not worried about being published, I just dig writing. It's my thing. I actually am very fascinated with the content of these classes in that students are forced to examine American Pop-Culture with almost harshly critical eye, and I think a lot of them need that experience. I just get tired of reashing the same "deconstruct your notions of culturall identity" and such.

The american pop-culture classes are somewhat interesting in the respect you said. I dunno about Necromunckin, but I had to sign a form saying i'd only have a professional relationships with anyone classified as an undergraduate within the university and while students I NEVER taught would be accepted (reluctantly) if I ever slept with someone I taught and it came to light, it's a 90% of instant dismissal and a small chance of a disciplinary where i keep my job.

sucky suck suck :(

I didn't just have to sign a form similar to that, I had to take a webcourse an attend a seminar about proper conduct in the work place.

I had to attend a discussion, but the form was the main part. It was not a legal thing per se, just an offical warning for conduct and general rules of decorum.

Also be wary of students who feel compelled to send pics of themselves in bikinis and lingerie

wary? Excited and interested, more like :p

Isabel, time passes remarkably quickly, you'll be graduating high-school and then college before you know it! :)

I so want to be out of high school.

I do not blame you. I right despised high school. The fact that I made the mistake of agreeing to go to my reunion in June is highly annoying. What the hell was I thinking?

Congratulations, Max! If I could go back in time, I would never go back to my highschool days...I'm not sure If you feel the same, but yea. I'm happee for ye!
I have my last test for the semester tomorrow, and then I have just one year left at this university :D

I dont go to college parties, apperently my idea of a good time doesnt involve sitting around someone else's house (that i probably don't know) drinking shit beer as fast as possible with a bunch of people that I dont know.
