I didn't know there was a 4 disc version of Bitches Brew Is it a kind of "complete sessions" thing?

Yeah, it's a complete set of all the recordings from the session.

i have pre-ordered
Thursday - War All the Time
From Autumn to Ashes - The Fiction We Live

but cd that i actually have would be...um
A Static Lullaby - Don't Forget to Breathe

Eminem - The Eminem Show
Pearl Jam - Riot Act
Coldplay - A Rush of Cold Blood to the Head
Radiohead - Hail to the thief
Guano Apes- Walking on a Thin Line
Kosheen - Resist
The Gathering - Souvenirs
U2 - Boy
Massive Attack - Mezzanine
Antimatter - Lights out & K13
Pale Forest - Anonymous Caesar
St Germain - Tourist
and Hooverphonic - Jackie Chan (soon)

Porcupine Tree- Stars Die comp
Porcupine Tree- Signify

Stars Die (The album and the song) is sooooo good!!!! Easily their best song (that I've heard, at least), but I think In Absentia squeaks by as best album. I need more from them.

Gentle Giant - Free Hand (I might be the only GG fan here)
Dead Can Dance - Aion
Depeche Mode - Playing the Angel (actually, I downloaded it) too "dance beat" for me at times
Clann Zu/ - Clann Zu/, Rua, Black Coats and Bandages (why did they split:cry: ?)

Agalloch is metal in my opinion, just very melancholic metal.
According to interviews on the Porcupine Tree site, Porcupine Tree could go metal. But I don't know if I want them to.
I have been hesitant to get into their older stuff, but looking at the posts here, it might be a safe purchase to get Stars Die? or should I get certain albums?

I am always interested to see sugestions by Opeth fans.;)

Gentle Giant - Three Friends
Locanda Delle Fate - Forse le lucciole non si amano più
Kate Bush - Aerial
Coldplay - X&Y
Depeche Mode - Exciter
Bo Hansson - Mellanväsen

All in the last couple of weeks. There might be a few more...

Stars Die is a very good compilation. I can recommend it full-heartedly. Plus it has a nice cover and an informative booklet. If I had to pick one PT album to a desert island, I guess this would be it.

this a major bump...hhmmm I got Nick Cave 'from her to eternity' the other day
