On first impression the Marillion opus sounds like their best for years. As for Nightwish...quite a departure from the usual output I think although the tradmark riffing and keyboards are still there. I think it;ll take a few listens to properly appreciate.

Aina - Days of Rising Doom (The Metal Opera) ...anyone else heard this. It's sort of along the lines of Avantasia. Two CD's plus a DVD all in a superb digibook for only £16.99. Singers like Tobias Sammet, Andre Matos, Marco Hietala and Olaf Hayer feature with many more and then there's musicians like Thomas Youngblood, Jens Johansson and Emppu Vuorinen. I'm sure someone has mentioned it before but not sure where. If you can find it it's well worth picking up.
