It's hard to choose when so many songs have bursts of stupid sections mixed into them. Almost every song suffers from this, but on the other hand, almost every song has a really cool part in it. So while many of the songs are simply average, it is hard to choose.
I guess I'll go with LUTN. It just sounds so... forced. Children has yet to grow on me, either - sounds like mostly filler to my ears. I don't get the love this song gets.

Cant understand how that part is pissing so many people off. Ive listened to Reign of Madness a few times and i still cant remember what happens.

Reign of Madness has actually become one of the stand-outs for me on this album.

Lord of Chaos.
It´s the first SX song ever that I seriously dislike. The lyrics and the vocal melody are bad, but the chorus is even worse. The keyboads are nule, the weird guitar intro reminds me the Load-era of Metallica... I thought that "Shades of Gray" was unbeatable, but (IMO) LoC is the poorest and most un-interesting SX´s song ever!
Note: "Shades of Gray" is really not that bad... but I hate its chorus... it´s too "happy"

I went with Lords Of Chaos - it's not got much that I really like except a catchy chorus, though I know lots of people here don't like choruses like that. It was pretty close beteween that and a few other songs though. It's difficult to pick a least favourite because I don't really dislike any of them.
Dehumanized is actually one of my favorites from the album...

I kind of like the chorus of lords of chaos, it reminds me of something... so at least it has something going for it.

yea i might have to change my vote from ROM to LoC, i like the solo, but the beginning riff is SOOOO not SymX. Bonus tracks are bonus tracks, except Frontiers, which is epicly awesome.

Frontiers is indeed amazing. I love the part right before the verse... the part with the odd time signatures (I haven't listened to this song in years, so I'm going from memory).

One of my favorite Symphony X songs! This is an example of Symphony X doing something outside-the-box in a good way. The Lords of Chaos is the exact opposite of this (although that Gates of Babylon part in the middle is cool).
cant understand the hate for lords of chaos. top 4 on the album for me. i voted dehumanized because it just came up on random on my mp3 player a few minutes ago and the vocals were sorta annoying me.
also i dont get why people still think of the songs left off the short version of the album as bonus tracks when the band has clearly stated that the double disc version is what they considering the full real album. the only reason the short version exists is cuz nuclear blast think it will make them more money

Reign in Madness is a fuckload better than half the songs on the album tbh. End of Innocence, Dehumanized, Lord of Chaos, Light up the Night, Electric Messiah. All said songs are worse than Reign by far imho.
3:45 to 4:10 of Dehumanized is, IMO, one of the BEST parts on the whole album. Very pre-Odyssey feel to that part...I love it. Its one of those, "When all is lost we can still pull this shit off" kinda parts
