Slayer wins by a long shot.

2. The big thrash 3 in Germany (Kreator, Sodom and Destruction)

I prefer Kreator.

3. First wave of black metal (Bathory, Sodom, Celtic Frost, and Venom)

Bathory definately.

4. Second wave of black metal (Mayhem, Burzum, Emperor, Graveland and Darkthrone)

Mayhem or Graveland I like.

5. Florida death metal scene (Death, Obituary, Morbid Angel, and Deicide)

Obituary my friends.

3. Bathory is simply amazing
4. Either Emperor of Darkthrone for me

Well, here I want to go for Bathory.

Actually I like none of them, but then I will go for Mayhem

5. Florida death metal scene (Death, Obituary, Morbid Angel, and Deicide)

Death, but this is also an hard dissision, because Obituary is also a great band.

4: I personally find most 90's black metal to be boring, but Darkthrone and Burzum I can listen to. Of the two I'll take Darkthrone.

5: I'm gonna have to take MA over Death by a real narrow margin

I also think you should add a British or European Death Metal section.

I don't like black metal. But Dark Throne maybe..

I'll chose Death. Then maybe Morbid Angel and then Obituary. I don't like Deicide much.

OK, question 1 for me is Slayer, for me Metallica even went downhill already after their second record...Although I concider "Kill em All" one of the best albums ever...
2. In the 80's I liked Destruction more, nowdays Kreator rules !!
3. Early Celtic frost , but closely followed by Bathory's first album...
4. Dunno, don't know any of the bands, don't think I want to either

Kreator, well the name says it all they practically invented German tharsh scene
