I was in Toronto for a few days in 2010. I would recommend the CN Tower at sunset if with a lucky lady. Super fucking romantic as the city goes dark. It's not a very interesting city from an architectural standpoint, but it's still a nice place to be.

I was also at the Eaton Centre (giant downtown mall) and was bummed to see that clothing costs a shit-ton more than in America. Even more disappointing: Canada's fucked up liquor distribution system. Buying any alcohol there sucks.

I recommend the Distillery District stuff. Art galleries, a nice cafe, and the solid Mill Street brewpub. Beer at bars is priced roughly the same as bars in big cities in the US. It's just the LCBO shops that are awful. I also recall spending a fair amount of time on one of the streets downtown that had a lot of boutiques and smaller shops. I want to say it was King, Queen, or Yonge. Close to downtown there was that incredibly fugly art museum/school building.

In summary, Toronto is a fun town if you are banging a hot chick who can show you around while you're there.

My feelings are fucked. How I feel half of the time is totally unacceptable according to how I feel the other half of the time. I just give up. I'm a bad person. I might start drinking more and hitting on every woman that comes into my path.

All of this is true

Right now? I feel like complete crap. I'm depressed, anxious and I have a fucking cold, and now sitting in my office for the rest of the afternoon trying to get something accomplished. I feel useless and worthless.

Hell is real, folks. It's not a place, it's a condition.

physically im doing fine but i barely feel alive anymore almost nothing excites me

I read that smiling when you're sad can help. Apparently the brain actually checks facial expressions to tell itself how to feel. I tried it earlier today and it actually worked. It could have been a placebo effect, not sure. Either way, was pretty cool.

Feeling pretty good. The boss rolled out some Moet & Chandon champagne at the end of the work day, since our website launched, and many of my co-workers and I went out for drinks and talked shit about the dead-weight employees that got laid off. I'll probably have a craft beer or three at home and queue up some porn for later. Good times.

Also, surprises.

Am I the only one who hates local news? SOMEONE WAS BRUTALLY MURDERED. PEOPLE ARE SAD. JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW.
