Bah, I dunno.. I can't help but look at people and think that we're just a mass of cells. It's strange how complex we can get. Personality, character (which some people lack, lol)
Hmm, man I can't get over how weird life is. There are no words to explain how I feel. I'm merely scratching the surface to my deepest wonder.
What are your thoughts?

Well I believe that if you understand how you work biologically, and understand what your emotions are and why you feel a certain way, and think of everything you do as something that is ultimately controlled by chemicals and electricity, you'll ultimately realize how worthless and pointless your individual life is in the grand perspective of the universe. It'd be great if you could always be in that state of mind, sometimes I think that clearly, other times not.

As far as life and death thoughts go, it's been bothering me, how do you act around someone who wants you to kill her cause she doesn't have the guts to do it herself? Fascinating creatures we are.

Mike Tyson's Punchout!
Fucking A! That game rocked! So good!

Life is impossibly complex, and every human being is completely different form everyone else, despite how cookie-cutter their clothes and bullshit phony tough attitude are. Life is weird, and too many people think negatively of their own imo. Uber depressed and emo kids make me look at them and think "What the fuck is wrong wit these kids? Get a fucking grip pal! It could be worse, bitch!"
Yes, people need to take themselves less seriously imo.

I totally understand how we work biologically... that's why I always think like this.
Thanks for the responses... they are definitely good ones. :)

Yeah, as individual humans we seem pretty insignificant but as a race we are capable of so much if we can just get along.

Just remember back in the 1960s where we put a man on the moon. Yeah, as a race we can pretty much do anything with time.

Guerilla, It's all how you look at life an no I am in no way talking about religion.

I just wonder what other Atheists think about what the human race can do if we join together.

If we join together we can do... not much, apart from accomplishing material goals. What if we put a man to the moon, that's next to nothing. You wouldn't even be here typing all this were it not for a fault of nature that gave humans the ability to think and reason.

Cause I think that's what we are, nothing more than a fault of nature. Every other living organism on this planet can adapt just fine and live in balance with the environment, while we slowly destroy everything. LOL makes you think if those crazy guys that say we are from another planet actually have a point.

It really doesn't matter if there is the potential for the human race to actually do something worthwhile, at the end of the day that's never gonna happen. Just like communism, grand ideas, flawed execution. The best thing we can do is agree on a mass suicide and kill ourselves. I'm sick and in a bad mood.

I don't know, I always justify life by trying not to think that I'm an unelegant shambling mass of cells preoccupied with meaningless tasks that won't matter when I'm dead, yet, I just can't help it but think that I am an ugly little animated hunk of pink flesh... *shrugs*. I guess the ability to reason and alter our world at will is what sets us apart from common dirt and water.

Humans could do a lot of things if we all joined together, but we never will because people will always dissagree with eachother.

Life is stupid and confusing most times, and I don't think anyone will ever figure out "life's great mystery".

It would suck if everyone agreed with each other. Some of the greatest discoveries have evolved from an argument, and the desire for one person to prove another wrong.

I'd add my $.02, through a strange experience, It's been a few years since this happend, call it a near death experience or what you may, went on a "trip" for the 2-3 minutes I was unconcious that seemed like years, I can still recall everything from it but cannot put it down in words in physical form,I've been staring at this for 45 minutes and it has opened up some inspiration. I was 24 when it occured and the event still courses through my thoughts everyday. It has to do with being part of a collective concious and our transition to a singular physical material form being part of a "purification" lesson or study for the whole.. I'm not a religimous person in any sort really so don't take it that way, it was pretty fucking bizarre experience.
:OMG:
