Well, most albums involving Isahan are a bit contrived/forced these days. However, he does have some very good ideas. Hell, he even made some appealing material with Peccatum... which is an achievement thanks to the presence of lord PZ.

Peccatum live had to be one of the most ridiculous things ever. However, seeing Witchery at the same show totally redeemed everything.

The only Emperor album I own is Prometheus, which I was quite amazed by. Greg, (hahahahahoahaOHAHhhahHH I KNOW YOU'RE NAME) can you recommend moi secondo Emperor albumumumum purr chase?

that was indeed a great tour. peccatum were nasty live- i bought that first record, and liked small parts of it, but overall it was just bad.
i do have a witchery shirt from that tour- the plain one with the tour dates on back. emperor and borknagar were good too.

i'd say anthems or nightside would be good purchases. loss and curse of reverence is a great song. i don't know the ones after anthems, tho.

i don't really know much about the other emperor albums but i guess it depends on what your preference of black metal is. i really am a fan of clarity in the production and as a result i find myself really loving prometheus and alot of what i heard off of IX Equilibrium.

However, others I know prefer Anthems just because it has that super buried quality to the production and maybe is a bit more black metal than their other stuff.
