Listening to Katatonia

Just started getting into "For Funerals to Come" and What other albums are good and on that note, what other bands from the genre would you recommend? If someone could yousendit some stuff, it would be much appreciated.

edit: I'll probably be mocked for this, but I pretty much like all of katatonia's albums, I just the better ones I usually listen to them in alphabetic order since thats how they are in my list

as far as I'm concerned, Brave Murder Day, Last Fair Deal Gone Down and The Great Cold Distance are their best.

The new one is really fucking good. I'd say it was most excellent. Yes. Yes it was.

Buy the Brave yester days compilation. It's got almost all the good stuff from the early days and lots of rarities, like their best track Black erotica.

That compilation is definitely essential for their frequently awesome non-album tracks, but get BMD and December Souls first, and it should go without saying to check out the later albums as well.

Forest of Shadows is rather similar to early Katatonia. They even covered "Rainroom"... Let me know if any of you want uploads.
