Recommend me some melodic death metal

and there is hardly any technicality
What about albums like The Gallery? It may not be the most technical, but it has interesting time changes and time signatures. Melo-death is obviously less chaotic, but the bands can be just as technical as normal death metal bands. They just aren't, because most melo-death sucks.

Crown of Autumn - The Treasures Arcane
Dark Lunacy

What about the Mind Tricks album?
I don't see why everyone sees FODG as better than MT.

Agreed here. MT seems to get slaughtered, but FODG most fans of the melodeath genre seems to like. Dont understand that, but all their albums are top melodeath.

On topic: Ive never understood the hate someone have for this genre. "Im so brutal, I dont listen to this melodic shit." You are just as fucking gay as the "wannabe" gay cunt hardcore kids.
So fuck off.

And over the the recommendations:

Too many good albums to recommend. But some albums thats not been said, check out Shade Empires "Sinthetic" and Dan Swanos "Moontower."

some bands:

Death Metal:

Amon Amarth (melodic-death) my favorite death metal band, i might add

Quo Vadis (considered "technical metal" i gues? i hear it's because of how hard the guitar is to play? don't know, i don't play music, i just listen to it, lol.)

Mors Principium Est. *their first album: Inhumanity is the best*

Novembers Doom (they're death/doom mix, but they're really good.) all of their albums are, imo. i just got the newest album today. so far it's great, imo.) i even have the Wayfaring chronicles (lyrics explination book) it's really good too. i was surprised it was only $13 on the end's site ($12 on novembers doom 's site)it has the intro to the album, the lyrics & the explination of each one from their first full-legth up to their previous one (the novella resivor)

Draconian (swe) they're also death/doom not too melodic, but i hear some, at least to me. (my favorite album by them is: Arcane Rain Fellfavorite song is a tie between "Heaven Laid In Tears (Angels Lament)" & "Death, Come Near Me" both from the same album

and god dethroned (swe) newer stuff is more on the melodic side (specifically the new album: Passiondale) i love that it's a concept album about the battle that took place in the town of the same name during WW1. i like all of their albums s well (except for the 1st, it sounds too under produced)

Hollenthon is a good black metal band, imo. (they may be progressive black metl, not sure) their newest is really good, but their previous 2 are also good)

Hortus Animae

both albums are good, imo. anyway. it's a shame the band is on hold indefinitly

Havayoth (good band, kinda gothic with clean vocals) only have1 CD (his creation reversed) but it's really good.

Sunless Rise

Harasai

Crystalic

Okera(These Guys sound a little doomy which is cool)

Nemirie
