Logic users looking for free Clipper plugin.

tired of the lack of a free Clipper plugin for Mac?

turn your attention to the "Bitcrusher" plugin in Logic, found under the "Distortion" section of the drop-down menu.

set as follows:

-Drive= 0
-Downsampling= x1
-Resolution= 24Bit
-Mode= Center Position

then set the Clipping level to taste.

Indeed,

I've been messing with it a little more and it seems to work really well.

here is snare, a bounce of the clipped version and the clipped version brought up to the level of the original, sounds damn sweet.

the stock compressor, click the little down arrow, change it to clip mode

then put the threshold to 0db so it wont compress, and then boost the output and you can clip like that too.. easy.

I love those hidden parameters in the Compressor. so much extra mileage out of an already awesome plugin
