What made him angry was when I said "nobody wants to see a making of video with you playing root notes". You can't even hear the fucking guy on the newer Borknagar albums, he's useless.

you must be deaf then because he's doing a lot more than rooting just on the genuine pulse alone

not like vortex was doing anything groundbreaking bass wise, it aint like he was digiorgio-ing it up in dimmu or anything.

Yeah yeah, everyone blabs about what he did on The Genuine Pulse. Nothing special.

Vortex may not have been groundbreaking but you know what? He wrote some of Borknagars best songs and at least his bass was audible. Has Tiwaz ever made a song for Borknagar? Nope.

Listen to Empiricism and Epic. Epic has virtually no bass, and you can't hear a difference.

Tiwaz is a pretty fucking wicked bassist. And I really dig his bass tone.

Shame Borknagar sucks a cock these days in terms of song writing. Also, if you can't hear him on the albums, get a better sound system because what you have obviously blows.
