Upcomming album
We are right now finishing the production of our upcomming, acoustic based album. The
music is hard to describe in simple words, but you should expect an album with a heart and a
nerve that is truly unique. We are really looking forward to unleash this epos of musical
magic upon the world as we have been planning this album for ages.....
The album is set to be released during October through Century Media Records worldwide. A
more spesific release date will be issued soon!

Song titles
There will be 9 songs on the album. The titles are: Earth Imagery, White, Cynosure, Human
Nature, Grains, Acclimation, Signs, The Spirit of Nature and ...............a surprise. The album
will contain one re- arranged/ re- recorded song from one of our previous albums.

Erik Tiwaz(aka Tyr) playing bass
On this album we have had to pleasure to work with Erik Tiwaz(aka Tyr) once more. He was
the man behind the brilliant basslines on “Empirisicm” and has truly granted us with his
magical low- frequencies on this album as well.

More news regarding a spesific release date, additional guest musicians and the album title
will be issued very soon!

On behalf of BORKNAGAR,
Øystein G. Brun

Man, this news was really due!
I'm really looking forward to having this album!
Got some question, if someone bothers to aswer:
- Only clean vocals? (Hope so...)
- Eric, are you doing some fretless work on the album, right?
- Will there be a 'somewhat' limited version just like for Epic with behind-the-scenes footage?
- And when on the footage, what are the news on the also long overdue DVD that was / is in the works according some previous posts by bandmembers. Will it contain footage from the recording of this accoustic affair? What will it have anyway? Any release date?

Thanks in advance :-)

Sme short answeres to your questions:
- Yes, there is only clean vocals on the album!
- Erik is playing 6 string fretless bass.
- On the normal version I doubt there will be any behind the scene footage. But we are thinking of doing a "special version".....we'll see!
- The DVD is still on the scratch board but sometime, somewhere...;-)

what the hell are you talking about?
Ssshhh, let him dream. :)

Great news, Øystein. Really looking forward to this. Even though I'm kinda isolated the next year at a folkehøyskole, I'm still gonna order the cd directly to my door

No album title as of yet? EDIT: Whops, saw it now.
Guest musicians? Wow! I bet karpsmom's dreaming about a duet with Garm, Vortex and Vintersorg.

Great to hear that Erik is playing the bass! I'm looking forward to having this album.

Cool news! wonder what the re-done tracks are goin be?

You mean, the re-done track...
unfortunally only 1 song was chosen :(
I hope that To Mount and Rove has been the 'lucky' one ^^
