How long is six degrees? Green Carnations "Light of Day, Day of Darkness" is 1 track that is an hour long. Also there's a doom band called monolithe who's done 2 albums that are a continuous song in (i believe) a trillogy, where the third part is being worked on.

yeah, LoD,DoD is longer and also fucking amazing. Check it out if you haven't. Green Carnation slay. Also, i'm not sure how long Edge of Sanity's Crimson albums are 40 min (number 1) and 43 min (number 2)

The longest PIANO song i've heard of goes for 4-6 hours depending on how you want to play it. Its called Opus Clavicembalisticum by a dude called Sorabji, and is one of THE most difficult songs ever. If anyone has a recording I actually have never heard it and I really want to

When I was looking a the actual sheet music for Universal Mind by The Liquid Tension experiment I thought that was insane. That's still insane but this kicks it up to just plane crazyness.

Garden of Dreams is actually 59 minutes long. There is another instrumental song after it on the first disc, which then bumps the time up to around 65 minutes.

Light of Day, Day of Darkness is easily one of the best songs I've ever heard. I still need to hear Crimson I and II, though apparently they come highly recommended. Other than those three, most of the better, longer songs in my collection hover around the 10-15 minute mark.
