Edit: since I'm not getting replies, I'm looking for black metal with the guitars at the forefront, or crunchy guitars in black metal.

Just in case I'm not explaining it too well, here's some examples.

Absu - The Sun of Tiphareth
Sigh - Infidel Art

Stuff with ambient parts is cool too....

Sabbat and Faustcoven are both great, already knew them though.

Megiddo/Throne of Ahaz I did like... I'm not really big on Gorgoroth or Nifelheim though.

Thank you for your reply, good sir.

Since I am trying to rebuild my black metal collection after it was wiped...

Anyone willing to offer up things similar to darkthrone/satanic warmaster second wave sound and any decent norsecore stuff would also be greatly appreciated.

Annnnd... riff based bm.

Also, any black metal that muddles together into a wall of sound kind of like shoegaze does. (not asking for shoegaze/bm hybrids)

For Darkthrone worship, try early Deathspell Omega.

For riffs, maybe Varathron for more of a heavy metal sound or Inquisition for a more kvlt sound.

For a wall of sound, try Aeternus.
