ive just started season 1 on blu ray, fucking hell its great. on blu ray season 1 looks as good as season 5 haha, im on the 3rd episode and theyve found the radio signal and sawyer has just shot the US marshall and not killed him and left jack to sort it. its all so exciting!!!
and theres a bit with locke playing checkers on the beach, black and white pieces, theres a big thing about black and white in lost, and in season 5, jacob wearing white, the other dude wearing black. what if whats going on is a massive game between these two guys? clearly the guy in black is upto something, taking over lockes dead body to kill jacob.....
its cool watching it again knowing everything we know now, i hope season 6 is a return to the early seasons where it was all about CHARACTER and not just moving the story along. so much happens per episode in the early series yet you get a lot of character interaction and development... hang on id best calm down and just enjoy it, its brilliant.

Yeah I ordered both season 1 and 2 on blu ray and it does look great. HD just makes everything so much more enjoyable haha.
It is all a massive game between Jacob and his nemesis. The thing is we only know of nemesis' plan to kill jacob. Jacob must have seen it coming though, maybe blowing up the bomb and everything was his plan to counter Nemesis' plan. Dunno, we will have to wait. Im getting ahead of myself haha.
Watching it a second time knowing all that you do is a great way to see what you missed before. Enjoy it.

I gave up watching it after series 2, I was getting Lost (No pun intended) it wasn't going anywhere and I found it getting to be dragged out and prolonged for no reason, the other thing annoyed me was idiotic things like Hurley always seems to be the same weight, if anyone was stuck on an island for a prolonged time would be losing weight and suffering from health problems like scurvy, rickets, pellagra and other diseases
I know this is me being incredibly pendantic but I do want to see a sense of realism if you know what I mean
To be fair, at least I did watch 2 seasons and gave my judgement rather than never seeing it at all and just say it's crap on other people's say so.

Lost's story arc is too big to be judged just by watching the first 2 seasons. They did drag it on a bit in season 2 and 3 but the show gets a lot better later.
I would to say the best episode is the last one we've seen which is the end of season 5. But I get your point if your not a big sci-fi fan and you like realism its not a show for you.
And diddy, you should watch all the previous seasons before it starts again. The Last season is going to be incredible.

That was the problem for me, it just drag on and I just got completely bored and never bothered watching it again as I was just turned off
I was a huge fan of Hero's when it came out but by seasons 4 it just got silly and again a great idea ruined by a stupid storyline
I did make mention of my favourite shows which I watched from start to finish and it was The Soprano's and The West Wing, each episode was well written and it captured your attention till the end and left you wanting more

I'll take shows for what they are. West Wing isn't an exact portayal of how the White House is run, it's too idealistic to be realistic, but it's so well written with incredible characters i have to love it, i watch that as a drama. I watch Lost as a ridiculous Sci-fi drama series and don't take it as seriously, realism hardly matters with lost, but i still love it as much as i love the West Wing because it doesn't offer easy answers, it's a challenge to get through, it makes the cogs go around trying to piece things together until you get the answer, and when you do it's turned on it's head and you realise you were nowhere near. Lost is great, it isn't easy entertainment.
