You have a good point, I guess it's just that with Velvet Underground and his solo stuff his style seemed to fit. His spoken word/word association style really clashes here.

Jesus fucking christ this is really bad. I love Lou's stuff with the Velvet Underground, but I don't think the spoken word stuff works here. Not that the music behind it's exciting either! It's a single riff, and not even a good one at that, it's actually pretty boring. I don't think the whole album will be too bad, but this isn't promising at all. At least ReLoad had some decent hard rock on it.
