Love of Live (part två)

wow great shot!

those shots without flash are really great for atmosphere but wrong concerning technique and exposition (if the exposition is right you are able to see details also in very dark zones), but as i don't work for anyone i can shoot the way i want :)

i like this one sooo much

i like also strange/experimental photos where there's a lot of movement like these:

i'm going to see tankard tonight!!!!! :headbang:
they play really near to me, about 60 kms.
i'm gonna go out with some friends, have a good pizza somewhere out there, and then go to the concert. it's gonna be funny....i've crazy friends

i hope you'll have a blast! :kickass:you've earned some fun! ;)

strangely we're not disorganized as always :)
meeting time as been already decided. they're going to be here at 7.30 pm :loco:
we usually decide everything at the last minute, we never know who we are, how many we are, how many cars we have, at what time we meet, and where.....it's a total mess, always

I saw Depeche Mode on Thursday, it has been one of the best concerts in my life, despite the sound problems. I bought a lot of nice merchandise, I'll put some links later.

I actually got into a very nice area, there was no control whatsoever (except for the most expensive area), so I they were quite close actually (ca. 75m).

i'm alive...back home and now at work.
went to sleep at 4.30 and woke up at 9.00 :zombie:
so you can imagine that i'm not able to do a decent review of the concert

later, if i survive, i'll post some photos. it seems they came out worse that usual, very shitty lights, i hate bad lights :erk:

i must stop doing psychopathic/possessed photos

i have to convert all the photos, it will take a lot of time
have no will and no time now.

haha those are some very psychedelic looking shots  oh dear take your time, it's not like we're rushing you or something ;)

the fact is that i like to have my photos finished, but takes much time :Smug:
and i have a arm that hurts, so now i cannot stay in front of the pc for more than...uhm....10-20 minutes

I've always loved Depeche Mode, but I think Dave Gahan is a terrible frontman and I've never understood wanting to see them live.

i'm probably going to see ensiferum next week. my best friend is going to take her degree tomorrow, so i'm gonna bring her there, being ensiferum one of her favourite bands... look what a woman does for friendship  (not that i don't like them at all, but their are not in my top list)

haha i'm seeing them too on the 30th of oct. :D they're playing a walking distance away from my house!!! :hotjump: finally i won't have to worry about leaving on time to catch the last train and missing half of the show!! this is so relaxing  i wish more bands that i like came to play here...

i'm seeing them the 20th, in Bologna, about 2 hours of travel by car :erk:

anyway, i noticed that here we usually go to concerts by car (if people have one) , while you in the north prefer to go there with train. maybe just because italian public service sucks

noooo!! :erk: believe me i don't prefer public transportation at all!! and it sucks big time! it's just the only possible way for me here!! believe me if i had a choice i would definitely go by car! i just don't have it, don't have the drivers license either, and my friends also don't! So we're doomed to always miss the best part of the gigs (as the best bands always play the last), or choose to stay up all night and wait for the next morning train, if the band is really really really worth it...

but again the strange thing (for me) is that you and your friends dont' drive.....here we ALL have the driving license
we have more car than people...well not really....but we still have a lot of cars (which i know isn't good for the ambient)
each family has at least 2 cars. the first thing people usually do when they are 18 is to take the driving license... really the first thing!

we would love to! but it costs at least 2000 euro to get a license here, and probably another 2000 to actually buy a car, and we just don't have that kind of money right now. Me i don't even want a car lisence! i'd love to drive a motorbike! I know it sounds crazy but i'm more afraid to drive a car than a bike...

Used to go to concerts and travel by train all the time when I was younger. And hated it.
I didn't get my license until I was 20 (mainly for the reason Elvina pointed out.. :( ). And ever since I never went to a concert with public transit anymore. :)

Holland is small, the roads are excellent, and you can't get lost with a navigator. It's a win-win situation, the way I see it.

Only had to get used to watch a band without a slight buzz of a few beers at first though, but I stick to the rules.. no drinking and driving!
Although it's funny, of all the times I went out and came back home late at night, I never had to pull over to do the breath analyzer test.

here it's expensive too. but you can choose to take lessons for the theory or do it on your own and save a lot of money. you just must have the patience to study on a book instead of listening to someone who explains rules for you. i studied on my own and passed the test at first time with no errors :D
then you have to take driving lessons, and you're obliged to do that, the cost dipends on how many lessons you take. the minimum must be 10 lessons, but i took 7 'cause i knew the man of the driving school, and i was good in driving from the 5th lesson. i did the exam 10 days after the first lesson
i spent something like 150 euro for driving lessons and 80 euro for being able to do the exam at a public school, plus 100 euro for being able to the the driving exam. so that's quite cheap.
cars are really expensive instead. little cars, which are more or less big as a can of tunny, cost about 6000-7000 euro. a decent car is from 10.000 to 13.000 euro :erk: (i'm speaking of new cars) . so that's the real problem, to buy a car

hahahah i spent 10 minutes laughting on this photos.
looks like the bassist has lost his head which is falling down to the ground causing him a lot of pain (see the expression of his face):lol::lol:

i need a course of sober photography

back from the ensiferum concert.
the concert took place in a small club, it was really crowded, i didn't expect a so big audience (considering the fact that for group like enslaved there were not more than 100 persons).
nothing to say in particular about the first group, i don't even remember its name
the second group was metsatoll, i really enjoyed them. i liked their folkinsh sound, the use of a lot of traditional instruments, like the munnharpe, and strange stringed instruments.
the third was ensiferum. i don't like the last two album that much, i was there mainly for my best friend who likes them sooo much. i enjoyed the songs from the first two albums, and got a bit bored from the lastest ones.
unfortunatly they had also big problems with the sound, which came and went :erk:

before the concert a girl from the staff of the club went on stage saying that ensiferum didn't want any photos and videos. the audience freaked out. i had to quarrel with her and with a guy from the ensiferum staff who allowed me to do photos at the groups before ensiferum.
but when ensiferum came on stage, i got hidden and started to make some photos, and also a lot of other people started to do it too, and the staff got tired to walk up and there to stop people, so they finally gave up.
this is italy, we can't stand to impositions :lol::lol:
