Lullabies to Paralyze

This album is UN. FUCKING. RULY. At first I thought it was the best QOTSA album, then I wasn't sure, and now I'm not sure of being unsure. All I do know is Someone's in the Wolf is one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. There is a lot of hidden stuff with this album, all kinds of strange background noises, vocals, weird shit, etc. Very very cool album, the musical equivalent to this dude:

Anybody have the DVD edition? It has a little Making Of bit, the video for Someone's in the Wolf (my fucking goat it rules), and an psychological profile bit with Josh Homme by Sara Silverman. Good stuff!

cool! i saw the dvd edition at the store a few days ago, tried to get my sister to buy it & save me the $18.99 but no dice, so it looks like i'm gonna have to do it myself!

Can you feel it? Can you FEEL IT!?!? I SAID CAN YA FEEL IT?!?!???!

Album of the Year. Yes, even better than the new Primordial. Holy fucking balls this album is giving me the chills right now yesssssssssssssssssss

AAAAARG the only way I'm buying this anytime soon (no $, you know) is if I have 25$ left on this music store giftcard i found in my wallet! I WANT IT EVER SO BADLY!

"Broken Box"

I've got wine & so do you
Mine came with a cork
I wish yours did too

Everyone just loves you so
Well hurray!
Now you know where to go

In my head you're all brand new
I guess you're really all the same
In my head you're all brand new
Tell your new boy where i came
In my head you're all brand new
I just didn't want what you gave
In my head you're all brand new
Go & find yourself another slave

There you are
Ooohh you're so in love, just like juliette
Well guess what?
That's one thing that you can for-fucking-get

Tears from the sky
In pools of pain
Well baby tonite, i'm gonna go & dance in the rain

In my head you're all brand new
I guess you're really all the same
In my head you're all brand new
Tell your new boy where i came
In my head you're all brand new
Take that broken pussy elsewhere
In my head you're all brand new
Save it baby, i don't care

It does indeed kick ass, although I dont think its better than "Songs for the Deaf." Then again, that album is always in my car and I listened to it for damn near a year straight, so we shall see if Lullabies can withstand the test of time.
