Mac Plugin Help

hi, im new to the mac world so bare with me please. im having problems with some of my mac plugins. usually i search for AU Plugins which install themselves etc but i have a rake of plugins that have the extrnsion " .component"

what on earth do i do with these? do i extract them (with what) or where to i place them on my hard disk to work with logic studio 8.

any help would be great,

Haha I only recently made the switch and I don't regret it at all. Piece of piss to pick up. My windows PC hardly ever sees the light of day any more.

ah i was well due an upgrade - my old heap was a pent 4 (wit some serious cooling issues) a gig of ram, 80 gig hard drive n a crappy video card. only thing i really miss is adobe audition. i knew that application inside out and they wont make it for mac. ahh well. i must say macs certainly are much more stable. no blasted blue screen of death. cheers again
