Machine Head

Nay. The Blackening is worthless and songs I've heard from previous albums were mostly nu metal.

Yep

This guy I met on this band camp showed me some of their music and I was hooked.

The Blackening is the best but I haven't really listened to their other stuff yet

No, because there is a 99% probability that that album he has is a pirated copy because if it was one he bought he would likely have already listened to it by now ;) Hence the need of the Pirate emoticon.

Unless he buys in bulk, then it would be understandable. In which would account for the 1% probably.

Indeed. A pirate emoticon would be quite sweet.

I don't know anyone who buys in bulk, but the UM store is posting auctions for bulk cds and some of them look pretty sweet. Anybody else checked that out?

The only times I bought in bulk was a going out a of business sale at a local place, and off a friend who sold a lot of his stuff.

I remember seeing a video of machine head covering KoRn and it was the funniest shit ever(probably on Youtube).

i have seen machine head in concert with lamb of god and am goin to see them again with metallica. i have all their cd's except for the more things change. i can't stop listening to the blackening. all the songs are great. burn my eyes is a close second, then i would have to put throught the ashes of the empire third. suprecharger isn't that amazing though. that's my opinion on the subject

And what's with this Special Edition Blackening CD coming out?

Metallica frontman James Hetfield was quoted in Revolver as saying, “‘The Blackening’ [is] unbelievable. Unbelievable sound and power. It sounds like a band on fire. They have really turned it on again for me.”
