Malmö gig, 2003-10-21

Hello friends, here is the setlist for the Malmö gig, as far
as I can remember:

Godhead's Lament
Deliverance
The Drapery Falls
Closure (long version!)
In Time of My Need
Advent
Bleak
A Fair Judgement
Demon of The Fall

This was the shortest gig in the Scandinavian tour, so
far ( No songs from Orchid, no face of melinda, just one song
from MAYA and Morningrise. We even hade to clap our hands
for 5 minutes before they played the Demon!

But they sounded really really good!! Mike's screams were excellent.
The mixing was also OK. A little to much bass, and a little too low volume
on the solos, but otherwise very good. Sounded almost as on record.

Definately one of the best concerts I've ever been to!

Ouch! They've shortened their gigs just more and more since the first one in helsinki! damnit! I hope the gig in gothenburg will be a long one!

I'm sorry you missed april ethereal 'cause it was killer!

6.5 hours to go before the curtain rises here in Copenhagen! I bloody well hope they mix the set up a bit. Both times I saw them this summer they played exactly the same songs (without the songs from D2 of course) but the second gig at With Full Force was only 4 songs because they got buggered up with technical difficulties before the set.

Here's hoping for a 3 hour marathon!

Uncool bringin out April Etheral replacing it with nothing.

Don't post here much... but...

Was also at the gig in Malmö. Thought it was great! My first time seeing them.
The extra long version of Closure was one of the hightlights. It was built up and built up and ended in a very fast pace (or whatever it's called).

Missed April Ethereal though, it was one of the songs I was looking forward hearing the most.

Got a pick from Peter... Weeee!

(setlist comment: The Drapery Falls was played before Deliverance and In My Time of Need was played before Closure... that's how I remembered it anyway )

I just don't understand how the hell they can choose NOT to play 'April Ethereal' like this. What is happening to them? Are they tired?
