I like Manowar... it's not of my favourite bands, but I like their songs and of course they are funny and it's impossible to believe in what they preach. 
If you guys have a chance, watch their home video Hell On Earth Pt. 1 (I believe there's already a 2nd part and the 1st both in DVD), it's the funnier band home video ever!!! Lots of bykes, beer, naked chicks and everything else, hehehe. And wait for the scens in Curitiba / Brazil, with two drunk blonde girls licking each other!

20 years ago when I was in high school I liked them a lot. I have long since grown out of their stupid lyrics and image.

Yeah I do like some of their songs and it seems they kinda cool stage show (what I've seen from Fire & Blood and Brazil live DVDs) Sometimes quite funny to follow their doings, but they are okay to me.

Joey deMaio is anyway a fucking bass player. Just listen to his cover of The Flight of the Bumblebee, or in the song Bridge Of Death, in the intro, just after the trems, he plays arpeggios way to fast (with a pick). The day I'll be able to do the same, hens will have teeth.
