He really hasn't been active with the band in some time now (I think 5 tours now). He's been sick, he has anxiety attacks, and he pretty much just wants to focus on his solo project thingy.

dang can Axenrot provide the same feel as Lopez? I saw him live and he was alright. He did fine as a metal drummer, but I'm not sure if he has the same feel as Lopez did.
