Matts voice, Rippers voice

I dont know if this has been brought up but I was listening to I.E. and relealized Matts voice sounds a lot like Paul Stanley's, now I.E. has Ripper who sounds a lot like (obviously) The Metal God. I guess Jon knew what he wanted in vocalists from the get go because of his childhood idols Priest and Kiss.

Yeah, he was obviously into those bands. And even before Matt, during the Stormrider era, Iced Earth had more of an Iron Maiden vibe to it. But there's always that signature Iced Earth crunch...
