Meet and greet is a big fucking scam!!!

I understand the frustration, but getting angry at the band and telling everyone that they suck because the M&G was a bummer doesn't help!

Well after Scott Ian attempted to explain his way out of the Fucked up M&G, there are still no answers as to why.

First he says they are getting over the flu...Okay, tell the fans that it is not going to happen, don't tell them to go here go there...

Second He says, there's no place to do the M&G... I thought you were sick. Plus there is big fuckin parking lot, a big fuckin bus, a big fuckin nightclub (where the doors didn't open until 7:30 or so (since we were told to be there at 6:30)... Nice try.

Third he says there wasn't any time, too tight of a schedule. Then why in the hell would you schedule a freakin M&G if you didn't have time to do it.
And which one is the real excuse. 34 acting like 14--Fuck You, I paid for a fucking meet and greet and usually when you pay for something you don't get you get a refund or something. Besides the name of the thread is Meet and Greet big fuckin scam.... So I am letting people now what happened so it doesn't happen to them or at least they will be prepared if they don't get to meet them. I think I have a right to be pissed off, listening to Anthrax for over 20 years, buying EVERY freakin CD that comes out.



To AlexStomp: I was the only one with a Fishbone T-shirt, so you probably so me going over there when we were supposed to go over there to meet the band, and then you saw me running back there when we were told to meet them back there, and then you probably saw us running in circles when they said okay you all have to run in circles if you want the Meet and Greet (and buy the time you are done, the band will have left you will all be screwed).

Yeah, I remember seeing you with the Fishbone t-shirt. I hate that club by the way. Every single time I go to this club, I kick it with whatever band is playing. It's real easy since there's no dressing/green room. When LOA plays there, they just hang out in the restaurant part of the club. Anthrax used to do this. I remember seeing Charlie playing Pac_Man in the restaurant part of the club.

I've seen Anthrax 3 times this year so far, the first with John Bush still in the band right before they did the South American tour. For whatever reason, they seem to be keeping a low profile. They're probably just sick of answering questions. Who the fuck knows.

Also, there was a wierdo at the show at Jaxx 2 weeks ago. He didn't have a ticket and then he was all playing like the show was sold out. Which it wasn't. And then he tried to buy one of my tickets which I was holding for my kid brother. I remember him just acting all wierd and confrontational with me. He was driving and walking all around the club in a van. When I told him tickets were still available at the door for 35 bucks (rip off !!! I paid anyway), he said to me, "Thirtyfive bucks?? Do they know how far I travelled to make it to this show??" I looked at his license plates and they had VA tags. So I replied "no, how far did you travel?" and he said "I came all the way from Iraq". That's when I thought to myself "Oh fuck !! We've got another Nathan Gale". I mentioned it to somebody and then after the show, the band or someone onstage, I can't remember who thanked the security for keeping things tight. So there you go. That may be the reason why the Meet and Greet didn't happen. It's a bunch of different reasons. But being led on is bullshit for the paying fans.
