Melodic bands

Hey there,

I've really enjoyed all arch enemy and in flames albums so I thought melodic death was my genre
But when i tried to listen other bands i didn't really enjoy them (I've tried soilwork,amorfis and others and i only like dark tranquillity)

so please recommend me some melodic (not necessarily death) metal bands (and albums if possoble) thx

Spiritual Beggars. Not death but melodic, and feature Mike Amott from Arch Enemy and Carcass... Ad Astra is amazing. so is On Fire. Amott is an amazingly classy and tasteful guitarist.

...Did you try Carcass by the way? Heartwork is pretty melodic.

Ammot is the best i know...His solos in arch enemy make me like them..

But i don't like so much carcass..it's too brutal too death.. pp
